O Sr. Altino Torres Ferreira teve a idea the fazer uma petição "on-line" para propor que o site da FIFA seja também apresentado em Português. Não fosse só pelo facto de três das equipas que foram apuradas para o MUNDIAl falarem o Português...

The Portuguese language is nicknamed A língua de Camões ("The language of Camões", after Luís de Camões, the author of The Lusiads); A última flor do Lácio ("The last flower of Latium", by Olavo Bilac) or The sweet language (by Cervantes).
